The teakettle's on...
...and I'm very happily working from home today! I'm listening to the radio while I work, and am currently hearing an interview with Darla Shine, the author of the "Happy Housewives" book. Sounds like a good read, which I will have to check out when Micah and I go to Barnes and Noble this weekend:o)
Wish I could write more, but I need to wait until I get some of this work done. Hope that everybody is having a wonderful day!

I know what you mean by getting work done, Erin!
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Are you listening to KHCB?
I heard about a book called the "Vanishing Conscince" On Keeping Him Close By.:o)
On- Grace to you, Last weekend.
Also, here's a recipe I just came up with,
I had a pound of ground beef with 2 days on it I used to make lunch.
Oven Meatballs in tomato sauce,
- about a pound or a little more of ground beef,
1 egg,
1/2 cup quick cooking oats,
one can of tomato sauce,
garlic powder,
a few dashes of salt,
a few dashes of Low sodium Soy sauce,
1/4 cup chopped white onion.
oregano
Mix it all togather (except the tomato sauce)like you would meatloaf,
Form into balls and place in a foil lined 9x 13 pyrex rectangle pan
Cover with Tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano.
Cover and clamp down foil over the Pan.
cook for about an hour.
we'll see how it turns out!!!
Love in Him,
Jaime C.
BTW Erin, Do you have a perticular Denomination?
Personaly, we have a home church.
Members are Me, David (Hubbie) and Lilly (my 3yo daughter) lol :o)
A good church to attend is hard to find!
My Husband is learning to play the keyboard for worship time,
and we bible study (hubbie leads) as a family, also Listen to KHCB.
I think they are having an Open house soon.
Love In Him,
Jaime C.
WOW!! the meatballs are Fantastic!
My 3yo is eating them up!
I served them with the tomato sauce spooned on top, some Delmonte canned carrots, with a slice of whole wheat bread.
I bet there's plenty enogh for the next day, for someone to make a whole wheat sub roll sandwinch for the Hubbies lunch!
Yay!
Love In Him,
Jaime C.
I'm glad you got to work from home today, Erin! How nice. :) Just wanted to comment on that "Happy Housewives" book; I haven't read it, but there's a review of it here that I just came across a few days ago:

Sounds like it has some good points and some not-so-good ones, but at least you could skim through it at B&N first before you decided whether to buy or not. I hadn't even heard of it till this week, actually!
Hope you have a fun weekend with your hubby! :)
Hi Rene! I was glad to see that you are sticking around in the blogosphere:o) I will have to update your link on my sidebar. You are wise to limit your online time as you are doing. I probably need to have more discipline in that area as well!
Jaime, I was actually listening to 1070, which is an AM talk station. There are a few shows on that station that I really enjoy. I used to listen to the children's hour on KHCB when I was little! Thanks for the recipe...it does sound good!
Micah and I are not members of a particular denomination. We attend a Bible Church. I have never aligned myself with any denomination...I just try to go straight to the Bible for direction:o)
Carrie, thanks for the review! I actually rarely buy books at Barnes and Noble, I just look through the ones that sound interesting to me to see whether or not I want to buy them (and then I visit the discount bookstores or websites:o) You have a fun weekend too!!
Hi Erin,
I saw Carrie's comment on Happy housewives, and I have to second the motion on Happy Housewives! Amazon has it for around $16 and it is such a great read!
I enjoyed Darla Shine's book. Here's a link to a great review of it.
