Beyond Remorseful...

If you're like me and are thousands upon thousands of dollars in debt due to school loans, this article will be an encouragement! Let's hang in there, and find creative ways to keep our dreams of being wives and mothers!

You're right, Becky...the article barely scratched the surface:o) But I don't see these ideas presented very often, and so was excited to find them being discussed! One of my big goals right now is to share with young women how to stay AWAY from debt in order to be better prepared for family life and life in general. Since I made all the wrong decisions...I know what a pain in the @#&^ debt is!!!

I also completely agree with Watter's recommendation of Dave Ramsey. I've been recommending him for some time, especially "The Total Money Makeover" workbook. We're not nearly as far along on his plan as we would like, but at least we have not taken on any new debt in the past 1 1/2 years thanks to the education we got from him!

Hi, Erin!

Thank you for this post and the link - Even though I am older than the average college student, I went back to school about 5 years ago to finish my bachelor's degree. I fell into that student loan trap, too, and appreciate the advice in the article. Thanks, again!

And, by the way, I love your blog! I linked to it on my blog - www.momsdailythoughts.blogspot.com.
