Reflections on life, marriage, and purpose...by a young woman who is constantly learning how much there will always be to learn!

Just when I thought my week was busy enough...

This little character decided to move in with us!
Her name is Snuggles (much to my dad's chagrin), and she has a VERY hardy appetite. She still needs to complete her preliminary home-living course, learning the house guidelines for sanitary waste management. She also needs to learn that my pretty white coffee table and the electric cord to my sewing machine are not the proper tools for sharpening her already needle-pointed teeth. Once she remembers these things on a regular basis, she will graduate from the New Puppy Containment Program, which includes time spent in the above-pictured Bedlam Prevention Basket.

Leaving you with a thought.
1 Peter 3:8
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous

I am not visiting your site anymore.
It's too self serving and depressing.

Mother Bear...I'm sorry you find my site self serving and depressing. If you truly feel that way, it is quite understandable that you don't wish to visit here anymore...and is probably for the best.

Since you don't give specifics, I'm afraid I cannot respond more in-depth. However, I thank you for the verse and the time you have taken to leave comments in the past. I do wish you all the best.

How CUTE!!!!!!!!

Puppies are TONS of work but they bring so much joy!! I LOVED your descriptions...you're a very talented writer Erin!

And don't let MBIC's words upset you Erin! I've been visiting your blog for a long time now and you are ANYTHING but 'self-serving' or 'depressing'. You are kind, caring, gracious and friendly and very open to other's ideas and opinions.

What a mean and vicious thing for her to say! You've been very gracious to her and her criticisms of you. IMO it is YOU who has displayed a loving and Christ-like attitude.

Blessings to you sweet Erin!

Interesting verse to leave about having compassion only to be followed by a complete lack of it. But what a beautiful opportunity you took to be so perfectly gracious Erin. I don't think I would have been. I learned something from you. :)

Your puppy is just too adorable and I heartily agree with Mrs. B. that you are a talented writer. I enjoy your blog very much.

Erin,

Okay, I know this will be a huge comment, but...I have a lot to say! LOL

I second ann, Mrs. B, Amy, and Lisa! I have found nothing "self-serving or depressing" about your blog. As a matter of fact, your blog was one of those which inspired me to start my own blog. You are a talented writer and from all that I have seen, an incredibly godly woman. Remember Jesus' words: "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted." (Mt. 23:12) Thank you for fleshing out this verse for the blogosphere to see. You are SUCH a blessing to me. Anyways, stepping down gently off the soapbox.... :o)

Back to the post...what a sweet, snuggly puppy! He looks so fuzzy and cuddly. I can't wait until our boys are big enough to help care for one. Mr. Wilt has promised that we will get one... someday. I think our kitty may be the last Wilt cat, though. I don't have any idea how to get them (cats and dogs)to co-exist! :o)

{{HUGS for Erin}}Love ya bunches and hope the wedding goes great!

In His joy,
Mrs. Wilt

Erin,
What an adorable pup! I have to admit I'm a little jealous....I want another puppy soo bad, but now is just not the time for us :) I agree with what the other ladies said about that awful comment(that hurt my feelings and it wasn't even directed at me). If she really believed this, she could have ceased reading without making such a harsh statement. That's the hard part about blogging, people can just say whatever they want without being held accountable (by other people at least). Your readers love you, so don't get discouraged!

I just want to say thanks to each one of you for your sweet comments! I am SO not perfect and don't ever want to attempt to come across that way, so I appreciate you ladies reading and your kindness despite my deficiencies. I find a lot of encouragement from you guys, and just want to thank you for that:o)

Zan- I just have to put your mind to ease about the oreos...I too love them...and don't think I can ever bring myself to cut out all horribly unhealthy but delicious desserts! Desserts (in moderation) will remain a life-long vice, I'm sure!
