What do you think about this statement?

Sadly, I think this is probably true.

Today's culture reflects a humanist religion. Christians who are faithfully seeking to do God's will do have an impact. Unfortunately, people who are faithful only to their own self-interests have an impact too...a bad one. At this point in our country, it seems the latter group has us outnumbered :(

I think this quote struck me because I often finding myself thinking of "culture" as some abstract, nameless force. In reality, our culture is merely the sum of our individual value systems.

Donna, you're right about Christians having an impact. I wonder what America would like if every single Christian left. Our opposition seems to believe it would be wonderful, but I wonder what they would think if it truly happened.

This reminds me of what I've heard about Haiti, the country that made a "pact with the devil". (Article about it here: http://www.conservativetruth.org/article.php?id=2164). My sister has been to Haiti. It is the poorest nation in the world and is full of misery and disease.
